Role : Azure Platform Engineer Location : Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Top 3 skills required for this role: Azure cloud engineering Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, API Management Azure networking knowledge (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, DNS) Job Description/ Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team, focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data and analytics platforms, including Power BI. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Jenkins Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform Support and optimize Power BI platform environments Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable, cost-effective architectures Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support Additional Information: Team size, direct reports, key deliverables, unique selling points, additional qualifications, team culture etc. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience Proficiency in core Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, API Management Strong Azure networking knowledge (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, DNS) Hands-on Terraform experience for IaC Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD Power BI platform administration and deployment experience Data engineering fundamentals (pipelines, data lakes, ingestion patterns) Nice to Have Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203) Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost governance Familiarity with Azure DevOps We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
