Senior Apigee Developer

Title: Senior Apigee Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) We are looking for a Senior Apigee Developer to join a high-priority API migration program for a leading Canadian bank. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge, Hybrid, or Apigee X) and API development, security, and CI/CD automation. Responsibilities Design and develop Apigee API proxies, shared flows, and reusable policies. Migrate APIs from Azure APIM to Apigee (REST, GraphQL, SOAP/XML). Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, rate limiting, and PII masking. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Perform API testing using Postman and/or Karate. Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical documentation. Required Skills 6+ years of API/integration development experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge, Hybrid, or Apigee X). Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, SOAP/XML. Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and API security. CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins. API testing using Postman or Karate. Nice to Have Experience with Azure APIM migrations.
