Role : Senior Network Operations Engineer Location : Vancouver BC (Remote) POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Network Engineer is a senior member of the Network Operations team responsible for maintaining the stability, performance, availability, and security of the enterprise network infrastructure supporting retail stores, distribution centers, corporate offices, cloud environments, and remote workforce connectivity. This role provides advanced L2 and L3 operational support for critical network services and acts as a technical escalation point for complex incidents, recurring problems, and high-priority business-impacting events. The engineer will partner closely with Network Engineering, Architecture, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive operational excellence, improve service reliability, and support enterprise network transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong operational experience with deep technical expertise across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, remote access, and cloud networking platforms while demonstrating the ability to lead major incident response, mentor engineers, and continuously improve operational processes. EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of enterprise networking experience. 5+ years supporting Network Operations environments. Proven experience providing advanced L2 and L3 support within large-scale enterprise networks. Experience supporting geographically distributed environments including retail locations, warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, branch offices, and corporate campuses. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex multi-domain networking issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
