As a Healthcare Protection Security Guard ( Qualified person) in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- escalate situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Hourly wage of Qp ($19.40) * We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy * Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld * Uniform provided at no cost * No free site parking, accessiable by public transportation POSITIONS WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL P1: Monday to Friday 0730 to 1530 P2: Tuesday to Friday 2330 to 0730 P3: Saturday and Sunday 0730-1530 P4: Saturday and Sunday 1530-2330 RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HEALTHCARE PROTECTION SECURITY GUARD ( QUALIFIED PERSON) * Conduct proactive patrols of designated areas to identify, assess, and address potential security risks and suspicious activities. * Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of trained Security Guards to ensure effective security operations and exceptional service delivery. * Verify identities, monitor visitor access, and enforce security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment. * Respond swiftly and professionally to security threats, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken to protect people and property. * Manage and respond to security codes, alarms, and emergency situations in accordance with established procedures. * Monitor, inspect, and ensure the proper operation of surveillance systems, alarms, access control systems, and security cameras. * Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting security events, investigations, and corrective actions taken. * Respond promptly to alarm activations and conduct thorough on-site assessments to determine causes and implement necessary measures. * Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other stakeholders during critical incidents and investigations. * Maintain a strong security presence while delivering professional customer service and fostering a safe environment for staff, visitors, and clients QUALIFICATIONS FOR HOSPITAL PROTECTION SECURITY GUARD ( QUALIFIED PERSON) * Be authorized to work in Canada * Hold a valid Manitoba security license * First aid certification an asset is an assett or willing to obtain * Use of Force is an asset or willing to obtain (We provide paid training ) * Ability to stand and walk entire shift * Good verbal and written communication skills * Previous experience in the security industry (asset) * Tactical experience (Asset) * Customer service oriented * Leadership and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a stressful environment Apply today – this could be more than a job! 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
