As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in an industrial environment located at L4V 1B8.What's in it for you? Hourly wage of $18.40 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Part-time opportunities: Must be available Saturday: 5:30am-1:30pm & Sunday: 5:30am-5:30pm Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Ontario security license WSIB approved First Aid and CPR certificate Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
