Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. Location: L5B 3C2What's in it for you? Hourly wage of $18.80 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Part-time opportunities Sat & Sun: 1200-0001 Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Ontario security license WSIB approved first aid certification Minimum 1 year of experience working as a security guard Minimum high school diploma Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
