We are a no-nonsense team of passionate, execution-driven people. We believe that our ability to deliver, not just dream, sets us apart. Internally and externally, we do what we say we’re going to do. Our team members are empowered to act independently, make practical decisions, and move fast. We trust our people — and we build the future, one deployment at a time. We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Manufacturing Technician who supports the planning, development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing methods and production systems. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, the role focuses on process optimization, production efficiency, quality assurance, safety compliance, and technical documentation related to industrial manufacturing activities. We are looking for a Metal Fabricator who will be a core member of our fabrication team, building and finishing structural and mechanical components for the ChronoGrill™ platform and related assemblies. You will work closely with our mechanical engineering team to translate drawings into production-quality parts and prototypes. WHAT YOU WILL DO Fabricate structural and mechanical components from stainless steel using welding, grinding, laser cutting, and press braking Perform TIG welding to structural and cosmetic standards; finish welds to spec Set up and operate manual mills and manual lathes for precise part work Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and weld symbols with confidence Collaborate with mechanical engineers during prototyping to provide fabrication feedback and suggest DFM improvements Inspect finished parts against tolerances; document non-conformances Maintain tooling, fixtures, and work area to a high standard of organisation and safety WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required 3–5 years of hands-on fabrication experience — this can include internships, co-op terms, apprenticeships, school projects, or personal/shop work Proficiency in welding (MIG and/or TIG), grinding, laser cutting, and press brake operation Strong experience on manual mills and manual lathes Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and tolerances Comfort working independently in a small-team, fast-moving shop environment Nice to Have Experience with stainless steel fabrication or food-grade assemblies Exposure to sheet metal work, fixtures, or jig fabrication Familiarity with CNC milling, CNC turning, or programming Knowledge of NSF/food equipment cleanliness and finish standards Post-secondary education in machining, welding, manufacturing, or a related trade We care about what you can actually make, not where you learned it. A recent grad who has spent nights and weekends building serious work in a shop or school lab is as strong a candidate as someone with five years on a production floor. Bring a portfolio, bring photos, bring parts — show us your work.
