Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, responsible for driving growth and expanding Gazer Monitoring Inc.’s client base. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting market research to understand industry trends and customer needs, and managing lead generation activities through calls, emails, networking, and events. The specialist will build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, deliver tailored presentations and proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with customer requirements. This role also involves tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and providing input on business development strategies to support long-term revenue growth. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to assess opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes. Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, build relationships, and support client needs. Proven experience with Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities through the sales cycle. Background in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within security services, technology, or related industries. Comfort using CRM and productivity tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and report results. Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, ON, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
