Students will complete clinical or practical placements within the Guelph Community Health Centre. They will support the health and wellbeing of community members facing barriers to accessing services.

Student Placements No specific vacancy The Guelph Community Health Centre supports a variety of student placements including: Social Work, Nutrition, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing, MD rotations, Master of Public Health, Occupational Therapy, Children and Family Studies, and more. Please note student onboarding usually aligns with semester start and end dates, ie. fall (Sept-Dec), winter (Jan-Apr) and spring/summer (May-Aug). Students are expected to connect with the Volunteer and Student Coordinator at a minimum of 1 month before the start of placement. Please note that Guelph Community Health Centre does have a limited number of spots available for student placements and positions do fill up quickly. All students completing a placement with the Guelph Community Health Centre are required to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Screen through their local Police Services Branch prior to start date.
