Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000/year Job Summary: GDI is currently has an exciting opportunity for a position to join our Human Resources (HR) team as a National HR Coordinator. In this role you will be driving the HR business needs and employee relations activities across Canada. You will play an integral role in day to day HR business needs. The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for supporting operations with HR business needs (e.g. letters, employee relations, etc.) and talent management with an ability to deliver results. In addition, he/she must possess good organizational and communication skills combined with a strong customer service orientation. Responsibilities: Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration. Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication. Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Assist with performance management procedures. Coordinate training sessions, lunch and learns, webinars, etc. Draft memos, disciplinary letters, offers of employment, employment confirmation letters, etc. Ensure new-hire paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Maintain employee and medical files. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Assist and support managers regarding employee and labour relations matters. Assist in the development and roll out of new Human Resources initiatives and programs. Assist with HR projects and HRIS maintenance. Support other assigned functions. Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of a Human Resources diploma/certificate or 2-4 years of relevant work experience CHRP is an asset Strong MS Office skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A great attitude, a willingness to learn and motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment Can work independently with the right intuition Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
