SAP FICO Architect - Aerospace & Defense MRO

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. Be a productive member of the team. Requirements Lead a major SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation for an Aerospace & Defense Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) project in Montreal, Canada. Principal authority for financial solution design, end-to-end integration, functional workshops, and the translation of complex defense manufacturing requirements into standardized S/4HANA capabilities. Greenfield Design: Lead blueprinting and functional workshops based on SAP Best Practices, tailored to Aerospace & Defense, MRO, and Air Defense operations. Process Integration: Drive seamless financial integration across MM, SD, PP, PM/CS, and PS, ensuring consistent end-to-end business processes. Solution Governance: Own key architectural decisions and promote standard SAP S/4HANA functionality over unnecessary custom development. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leadership in Montreal to translate specialized defense requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide local functional and technical consultants while providing architectural direction. Global Delivery: Coordinate global delivery teams, ensuring quality, timely deliverables, effective knowledge transfer, and alignment across offshore teams. Proven experience as a Lead SAP FICO Architect with at least 1–2 full lifecycle S/4HANA Greenfield implementations. Strong industry experience in Aerospace & Defense, Air Defense manufacturing, or MRO environments. Extensive expertise in SAP FI including GL, AP, AR, and AA. Strong SAP CO expertise covering CCA, PCA, CO-PA, and Product Costing. Good knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) and defense-specific costing and billing models. Strong experience in end-to-end financial integration and SAP solution architecture. Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken. Benefits A challenging, innovating environment.
