Determine nature, cause and location of trouble. Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel. Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
