Overview With a primary focus on United States operations, the successful candidate will oversee cross-border logistics, customs compliance, vendor management, and material delivery to U.S. job sites, while also supporting Canadian supply chain activities and inventory replenishment. What You'll Do Procurement & Vendor Management Perform purchasing activities, including sourcing, supplier selection, obtaining quotations, issuing purchase orders, and vendor follow-up. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms to support operational and project requirements. Develop, onboard, and maintain a vendor network across the United States and Canada, including supplier qualification, credit applications, NDAs, and commercial agreements. Inventory & Supply Planning Manage inventory levels and replenishment activities to support Canadian operations and US field projects. Coordinate with field operations, project management team, and shop personnel to forecast material requirements and minimize shortages, excess inventory, and downtime. Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Logistics, Transportation & Customs Coordinate domestic and cross-border transportation of materials, equipment, and consumables to Canadian facilities and US job sites. Manage shipping, receiving, and delivery activities while ensuring material availability aligns with operational and project schedules. Prepare and review customs documentation and work closely with customs brokers, freight providers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with import/export requirements. Monitor shipments, resolve transportation or customs-related issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders. Support urgent material requirements to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. What You Have Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. At least 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and/ or supply chain operations. Must have recent experience with cross-border logistics and customs processes. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and documentation skills Experience with ERP systems, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Excel is required. Valid G-Class Driver License and access to a reliable vehicle. Successful candidates must be able to travel to the United States as required and reside within commuting distance of our Caledonia, Ontario office for daily onsite attendance.
