Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator (Full time)

Gillfor Distribution has an opening for a full-time Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate at our London location. As part of our Lumber Yard team at our London Distribution Centre, you will work in a team environment reporting directly to our Yard Supervisor. This is a 6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Monday to Friday role. Expectations: Accurate and efficient order picking and packing Material handling and inventory management Assist in loading orders onto customer trucks Inventory cycle counts and spot checks Assist in keeping a tidy and organized lumber yard Compliance to all work safety rules and regulations Politeness to customers and truck drivers who are picking up or dropping off orders Ideal Attributes: Strong team work and time management is required High School Diploma Forklift experience in an outdoor setting an asset Ability to lift up to 80 pounds if necessary Knowledge of the building materials industry is an asset Able to work in outdoor conditions Flexibility with start and finish times Reliable and punctual Self-Motivated and able to work without supervision Gillfor Distribution is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The associate is responsible for accurate order picking, packing, and loading materials onto customer trucks. They must also manage inventory through cycle counts and maintain a tidy, safe lumber yard environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds while working in outdoor conditions. Forklift experience in an outdoor setting and knowledge of the building materials industry are considered assets.
