Senior Interior Designer Mississauga, ON | Full-time | Hybrid work model About GKC At GKC, we create inspiring environments where people work, think, and collaborate. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our design team in Mississauga. The Role Reporting to the Associate Director of Interior Design, you will play a key role in the development of design concepts and the technical production of high-complexity projects. You will actively contribute to the quality of deliverables, compliance with GKC standards, and overall client satisfaction, working closely with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Develop interior design concepts aligned with project objectives, budgets, and schedules. Contribute to the preparation of client presentations and clearly communicate design intent. Produce and validate drawings, details, and finish schedules in accordance with GKC standards. Select and specify materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and furniture. Coordinate deliverables with consultants and suppliers. Support schedule tracking in collaboration with Project Directors. Conduct site visits to ensure work is executed in accordance with the design intent. Profile Sought Diploma (DEC) in Interior Design or a relevant bachelor’s degree (Interior Design, Environmental Design, Interior Architecture). More than 8 years of experience in interior design. Relevant experience in corporate offices and spaces. Strong proficiency in Revit (required) and good knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Lumion is considered an asset. Solid understanding of materials, applicable standards, and building codes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work on large projects. Strong sense of autonomy, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive communication. What We Offer A collaborative, people-focused, and stimulating work environment.
