As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a skilled and experienced Automotive Glass Technician to join our high-performing crew. About the Role As a Windshield Technician, you’ll be responsible for removing, repairing, and replacing windshields and other automotive glass on a variety of vehicles. You’ll work directly with customers and be a key part of delivering a safe and positive experience. What You’ll Do Prepare windshields, back glass, and side glass for installation based on work orders and company quality standards Provide excellent customer service in person, maintaining professionalism at all times Work collaboratively with other technicians and office staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform pre-use checks on vehicles prior to installation work Properly handle, store, and dispose of glass materials and adhesives to minimize waste and safety hazards Assist with unloading, inspecting, storing, and organizing incoming glass inventory and supplies Communicate proactively with the procurement manager regarding inventory, equipment, or material needs Learn calibration systems and techniques In climate controlled shop, no mobile work! What We’re Looking For Previous experience in automotive glass repair and replacement is required Experience in customer service Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support others to achieve shared goals Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use cutting tools and handling equipment safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to lift automotive glass and materials in compliance with safety standards Effective communication skills with a positive, team-focused mindset Professional appearance and conduct Self-motivated, energetic, dependable and results-oriented Must have a clean drivers abstract Uphold Glass Doctor of Barrie's 5 star reputation Why Join Us?
