Job Overview We are hiring experienced Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) for ongoing infrastructure and roadway projects across the Lower Mainland. This role is for experienced traffic control workers who are looking for a more stable, organized, and professional field environment with consistent work Why Experience Workers Join Us Experienced traffic control workers choose to stay with us because of our focus on reliability, support, and professionalism in the field: Fast response from dispatch, fleet, and inventory when support is needed A supportive office team that is accessible and ready to help Strong focus on safety led by experienced supervisors Organized operations that make day-to-day work smoother Respectful and professional working environment on all sites What We Offer $23–$28/hour (based on experience) Consistent, ongoing work across the Lower Mainland Structured field operations and dispatch support Newer trucks provided for LCT field operations Opportunities for advancement into lead and supervisory role Minimum Requirements Traffic Control Person (TCP) Minimum 6 months experience in traffic control Valid TCP certification required Reliable vehicle Lane Closure Technician (LCT) Minimum 1 year experience in lane closures or traffic control operations Valid TCP certification required Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record What We're Looking For We are looking for experienced traffic control professionals who: Are currently working in the field or have solid experience Take safety, communication, and responsibility seriously Can work independently in fast-paced traffic environments Are looking for long-term stability, not short-term work Show up consistently and perform at a professional level What You'll Be Doing Traffic Control Person (TCP) Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) Direct traffic safely in active work zones using approved hand signals and equipment Maintain safe separation between traffic, workers, and work zones Follow site-specific traffic control plans and supervisor instructions Monitor traffic conditions and adjust positioning as required Lane Closure Technician (LCT) Lead and coordinate traffic control setups on site Supervise TCPs during setup and takedown operations Implement and adjust lane closures based on Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) Communicate directly with supervisors, contractors, and crews on site Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and site safety standards Maintain efficient traffic flow during changing site conditions Work Conditions Year-Round Work Available – Consistent Employment Opportunities Projects across the Lower Mainland Outdoor work in all weather conditions Dispatch-based scheduling with weekday availability required Occasional weekend work as needed
