<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>As the Millwright you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machine control systems as well as other miscellaneous equipment.</p><p>&bull; Perform predictive preventative maintenance of plastic extrusion equipment, manufacturing machinery and machine shop equipment and tools.</p><p>&bull; Perform preventative maintenance on tools with hydraulic & pneumatic systems.</p><p>&bull; Maintain injection molding machines such as Nissei, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Engel - newer and older models.</p><p>&bull; Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment system faults, ensure adequate control and safety measures are working and enforced. Enlist OEM as required.</p><p>&bull; Initiate purchase orders for equipment and machinery, parts and materials for production and building requirements, and maintaining critical spares and maintenance inventories.</p><p>&bull; Perform emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.</p><p>&bull; Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</p><p>&bull; Support maintenance and operational needs. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records (CMMS system, and ESA logbook).</p><p>&bull; Maintain, repair, test, program and install electrical motors, hydraulics, pneumatic electrical control systems, sensors, and variable frequency drives.</p><ul><li>Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance to simple control networks.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications and core competencies</strong></b></p><p> </p><p>&bull; College degree, diploma, program and/or Millwright 433A and/ or 442A Electrician certification.</p><p>&bull; Minimum of three (3) years' experience in manufacturing environment specializing in injection molding.</p><p>&bull; Demonstrated diagnostic trouble shooting abilities.</p><p>&bull; Mechanical, electrical/ electronic experience and training.</p><p>&bull; Comfortable with using computer applications and digital technology.</p><p>&bull; Able to operate motorized equipment (scissor lift, forklift, etc).</p><p>&bull; Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of project management an asset.</p><p>&bull; Good time management and computer literacy skills.</p><p> </p><p><br /></p><p>We thank all candidates for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
