Global Talent Partners is working with a well-established, privately owned small animal practice in Newmarket, Ontario that is seeking an experienced General Practice Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is best suited to a confident and experienced GP veterinarian who is comfortable managing a full small animal caseload independently within a well-structured, supportive, and efficiently run practice environment. The clinic is known for its long-standing staff retention, loyal client base, and strong operational stability, offering an excellent environment for veterinarians who value consistency, teamwork, and high standards of care. About the Practice * Established private small animal clinic with a strong reputation in the local community * Team of 5 veterinarians supported by experienced RVTs and veterinary assistants * High staff-to-doctor support ratio, typically 1 RVT and 1 assistant per veterinarian * Loyal, long-term client base with strong trust in veterinary recommendations * Focus on high-quality, client-centred general practice medicine * Well-organised clinical workflow promoting efficiency and consistency The Role * Provide comprehensive small animal general practice care * Manage consultations, diagnostics, and routine surgical procedures independently * Work collaboratively within a structured and experienced veterinary team * Deliver clear, compassionate client communication * Maintain high clinical standards in a supportive environment Requirements * DVM degree with eligibility for licensure in Ontario * Proven experience in small animal general practice * Confident managing cases independently * Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills * Excellent communication and client relationship abilities * Team-focused and professional approach Compensation & Benefits * Competitive salary $130,000 - $150,000+ CAD plus production * Stable, well-organised working environment * Strong clinical and support staffing structure * Loyal and established client base * Opportunity to join a respected and financially stable practice Location - Newmarket, Ontario Newmarket is a well-connected and family-friendly community located within easy reach of Toronto and surrounding urban centres.
