Key Information: Various shifts available depending on project requirements Overtime may be required during the busy season (April – October) Must be willing to work out of town Hourly wage is set in accordance with the applicable union agreement Comprehensive benefits package including health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching and vacation pay Job Description: Interpret electrical code specifications Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices Experience and Certification Requirements: Journeyperson Electrician Certification or equivalent is required At least 2-3 years working as a Journeyperson level Electrician or equivalent experience required Arial Work Platform Certification (preferred) Fall Arrest/Pro Certification (preferred) H2S Alive (preferred) Confined Space Entry & Monitor with Rescue (preferred) Rigging/Hoisting Certification (preferred) First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred) CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 (required) Able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg You have a safety conscious attitude and are able to work with others in a team. A reliable means of transportation is required. Proficient English language skills required. Education: Journeyperson Certification or equivalent. Go ahead and be yourself. We'll pay you for it! The Journeyperson Electrician is responsible for interpreting electrical codes, blueprints, and schematics to install and maintain industrial electrical equipment. They will also perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on switchgear, transformers, and control systems.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson Electrician Certification and possess at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Additional requirements include CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications, along with the ability to work out of town.
