Key Information: Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations) Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits, RRSP matching, pension plan, vacation pay offered Job Description: Conducting elevations shots, reading grade, and ensuring pipe is being properly placed in the ground. Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members. Providing continuous inspections of pipes for cracks or deficiencies. Read and interpret blueprints, specification, and reporting. Use and knowledge of various levels. Oversee the water and pumps within the trenches. Knowledge of fusion joining is considered an asset. Experience and Certification Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Topwoman for various sewer and water projects or equivalent experience required. Must have a strong understanding of reading grade. Must understanding surveying. Must be able to do elevation shots. Must be able to read and understand drawings. CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required. A valid driver's license is required. A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date. A reliable means of transportation is required. Proficient English language skills required. The Topman/Topwoman is responsible for conducting elevation shots, reading grade, and ensuring accurate pipe placement in the ground. They must also oversee water and pump management within trenches while communicating effectively with the crew and foreperson.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in sewer and water projects and possess a strong understanding of surveying and blueprint reading. Required certifications include CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance 201, and fall protection.
