The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a Permanent Bus Driver in the Norquay Area Bus Drivers are valuable members of the team who provide safe, efficient and punctual transportation of students. Location: Norquay, Saskatchewan Start Date September 2, 2026 Salary Details In Accordance with the Current Board Approved DPEA Salary Schedule Contact Details Christine Hawley, Transportation Assistant (306) 786-5505 Position Details: Permanent Part Time Route: Nqy 5 - South & East of Norquay into Norquay - Assigned to Yorkton Bus Garage The Duties Of a Bus Driver Are To Support safe, positive environments for students. Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety. Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading. Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided. Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description – Transportation: Bus Driver. The Successful Candidate Will Have The Desired Qualifications Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent A valid driver’s license with "S" endorsement. Clean drivers abstract. Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
