Security Developer, Ads Safety

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience. * 2 years of experience in software development in one or more general purpose programming languages. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. * Experience of building scalable ML system. * Experience in anti-abuse adversarial domain. * Experience in data analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Address complex problems in abuse fighting. * Work with the team to develop solutions to classify and understand actors and their assets, including destinations in Google Ads, using machine learning techniques. * Partner with teams to deliver solutions to detect and stop bad actors from re-entering Google Ads, and to reduce friction for good actors.

The role involves addressing complex abuse-fighting challenges and developing machine learning solutions to classify actors and assets within Google Ads. You will collaborate with teams to detect and prevent bad actors from accessing the platform while improving the experience for legitimate users.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 2 years of software development experience. Preferred qualifications include a postgraduate degree and experience in building scalable machine learning systems or anti-abuse domains.
