Reporting to the Millwright Supervisor, you will be responsible for trouble shooting, diagnosing, and performing routine and preventative maintenance on a large variety of production equipment within our plant. The successful candidate will have proven mechanical aptitude and skillset, as well as strong familiarity and demonstrated experience with operating machine tools, adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts. QUALIFICATIONS: * Red Seal Certified Millwright * Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or wood products manufacturing environment * Welding experience is considered an asset * Excellent troubleshooting skills * Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail * Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently with little supervision * Must be flexible in scheduling with ability to work various shifts * Valid Class 5 drivers’ license ABOUT US: The Gorman Group of Companies is family owned and proudly made up of Gorman Bros.
