Job Summary And Requirements This opportunity This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent part-time position with Continuing Care at Alexander McDonald Lodge in Dawson City working 37.5 hours bi-weekly. It will also be used to establish a 12‑month eligibility list, which may be used to fill future similar vacancies. TB screening, RCMP Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check, CPR Level C with AED (within last 2.5 years), WHMIS 2015, and Food Safe Level1 (completed within the last 2 years) Job Requirement Shift Work; Exposure to flowers and/or plants and/or second-hand smoke; Exposure to animals; Heavy lifting and bending; Exposure to latex products and other irritants; Exposure to weather while assisting residents outside; Lifting up to 50 lbs as part of resident care and transfers. Provide person-centered care and support for residents in a long-term care home, assisting with daily living activities and light meal preparation. Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and dignity of residents while maintaining a supportive home environment.

Requires recent experience in personal care for elderly or chronically ill clients and experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds. Candidates must obtain TB screening, RCMP Security Clearance, CPR Level C, WHMIS 2015, and Food Safe Level 1 certifications.
