POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Mine Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of all maintenance activities at the Bradshaw Mine. This role is accountable for ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of underground mobile equipment, surface infrastructure, and maintenance systems while driving continuous improvement, equipment availability, and operational excellence. The Mine Maintenance Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in supporting production targets, maintenance planning, reliability initiatives, workforce development, and long-term asset management strategies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Lead and supervise underground and surface maintenance personnel, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability. * Oversee maintenance activities for underground mobile equipment, fixed plant infrastructure, electrical systems, and site services. * Ensure preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs are effectively executed. * Coordinate maintenance priorities with Operations to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime. * Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues and assist with critical repairs when required. * Monitor equipment performance and implement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs. * Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, shutdowns, and equipment rebuild programs. * Support inventory management and procurement activities for maintenance parts and consumables. * Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets and expenditures. * Ensure maintenance records, inspections, and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time. * Lead contractor activities within the maintenance department and ensure compliance with site standards. * Recruit, train, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to build a skilled and engaged workforce. * Work collaboratively with Operations, Technical Services, and Mill personnel to achieve site objectives. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for senior management. * Participate in emergency response activities as required. * All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: * Red Seal Industrial Electrician preferred; Electrical Technician/Technologist, Heavy Equipment Technician/Technologist, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or equivalent mining maintenance background will also be considered. * Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in underground mining or heavy industrial environments. * Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. * Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment and maintenance practices. * Experience leading both mechanical and electrical maintenance teams. * Solid understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset management principles. * Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications. * Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve equipment reliability issues. * Strong financial acumen with experience managing maintenance budgets. * Thorough knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ontario mining regulations. * Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Valid Ontario Driver's Licence. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * The role is located in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. * The ideal candidate for the role will work a schedule of 4 days on and 3 off, 10-hour days.
