Contract Role: Functional Tester GP Strategies is seeking an experienced Functional Tester (Contractor) to support the quality assurance and validation of digital learning and interactive training solutions. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and quality reviews to ensure learning deliverables function as intended across supported platforms, browsers, and devices. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working independently in a remote environment, and experienced in identifying, documenting, and helping resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities The contractor will perform functional quality assurance activities that include collaborating with project teams to understand requirements, technologies, and platform expectations and conducting functional, regression, usability, accessibility, browser, platform, and mobile testing. The contractor will verify content accuracy and functionality across text, graphics, audio, and interactive elements, document and track defects using issue management tools, and work closely with project teams to investigate, resolve, and validate fixes, including any downstream impacts. Additional responsibilities include analyzing requirements to ensure test readiness, providing quality metrics and status reporting. Required Skills Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision. High school diploma or equivalent with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, testing, eLearning, learning technologies, instructional products, or digital content validation; or an associate degree in a related field with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience in quality assurance, learning technology, instructional products, or digital content validation. Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience testing eLearning courses developed in tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms. A working knowledge of accessibility standards and testing tools, such as JAWS and color contrast analyzers. Experience testing digital learning solutions, eLearning courses, web-based applications, or other interactive content is preferred. Flexibility to support a variable schedule. Contract Details: This is a contractor engagement and fully remote opportunity. Project-based assignments with a flexible day-rate schedule and variable workload based on business needs.
