Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer join our growing team in Toronto, Ontario. The successful candidate will fulfill the role of an Engineer at their respective level, while being supported to advance in their own professional career. This post is for an existing vacancy. AEI does not use artificial intelligence to asses or screen applications. Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 (Additional years of experience for senior applicants will be considered for an increased salary range) Primary Responsibilities Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members Conduct site inspections and field reviews Manage communications with contactors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met At AEI, you will have the opportunity to work with an energetic and collaborative team. In this position, you will: Work alongside one of our regional Team Leads, all of whom are experienced and licensed professionals Supervise and support various team members including junior engineers, inspectors, and designers Report to a company Director that acts as a support to yourself and your fellow Team Leads Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects) Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.) Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario (or ability to apply within 1 year of start date) Benefits Of Working At AEI Competitive base salary dependent on specific level of experience Paid vacation Health benefits Performance based bonuses Flexible working location (hybrid) and hours (following probationary period) RRSP matching program Regular company social events and networking opportunities Career growth planning Opportunities to work on diverse project types and scopes Small-mid size company allowing for more direct collaboration with all levels of staff and varying responsibilities Accessibility Art Engineering Inc. is committed to an inclusive recruitment process.
