Compensation: The base salary for this role ranges between $63,040 - $86,680, with eligibility for an incentive target of $20,400.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided. This job posting is for an existing vacancy.Position Summary:We have an opening for an Account Manager to cover existing managed accounts north of London, and specific accounts in Strathroy, ON. This position would be based in our London branch. Reporting to the District Sales Manager - East, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing accounts. The Account Manager will support our corporate strategy by expanding share of wallet in existing customers and acquiring new accounts by providing unique value to win new business. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (You Will): Determines sales potential for new and existing customers through inquiry, observation, and periodic research Promotes WFS Ltd. products and services to customers through value-based conversations Maintains a high level of relevant product knowledge Assists customers with problems by comparing and introducing products Determines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products Identifies and reports actual and potential cost savings to customers on a proactive basis Communicates regularly with branch staff in order to resolve customer issues Maintains an excellent working relationship with customers and our internal team Assists Inside Customer Service Representatives with the development and maintenance of customers contracts and quotes Maintains customer contracts and follows up on customer quotes Makes sales calls with vendor representatives and other resources Develops a proactive sales plan and strategy to increase sales of new and existing customers Maintain records and reporting activity through monthly pipeline reviews Calls on existing and new customers based on the sales plan Follows all safety protocol in compliance with WFS' Health and Safety policies and procedures, local customer policies and procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Aims to increase customer sales with attention to margin Responsible for profit margin and expenses relating to buy and sell agreements REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (You Have): Diversified knowledge of industrial products developed through relevant post-secondary education and a minimum of 5 years of progressive, applicable work experience in an industrial environment Previous customer service/inside sales experience is an asset and previous outside sales experience is desired Ability to work independently and manage time and territory effectively Superior interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships and continually strive for improved customer service Demonstrated competency in VAI, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of the selling process Demonstrated team-playing attitude Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle as travel is required Rewards and Benefits:Our programs provide choice and flexibility to meet your individual needs.
