<p>At Grand Falls Energie, you?ll be treated like part of the family!</p><p>We are currently looking for a long-haul driver based in Saint John to deliver gasoline with a safe and conscientious attitude to the many service stations supplied by Grand Falls Energie Inc.</p><p><strong>What you?ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Perform a thorough truck inspection before departure</p></li><li><p>Go to the refinery to load the truck</p></li><li><p>Deliver petroleum products to our many service locations</p></li><li><p>Work outdoors during loading and deliveries</p></li><li><p>Handle petroleum products carefully (you will be required to use the fuel hose)</p></li></ul><p><strong>On top of that, we offer great conditions:</strong></p><ul><li><p>60-hour work week, Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (5 days on the road, 2 days at home), year-round</p></li><li><p>Salary between $87,000 and $92,000 per year!</p></li><li><p>All your tasks and travel are paid</p></li><li><p>Work clothing provided + annual boot allowance</p></li><li><p>No waiting time at customer locations and no waiting for a return trip</p></li><li><p>Assigned truck and tanker</p></li><li><p>And many other benefits! (Group insurance, RRSP with employer contribution, telemedicine, sick days, personal days, etc.)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Class 1 FM driver?s license</p></li><li><p>Minimum of 2 years of experience</p></li><li><p>Vocational diploma (DEP) in truck transportation (an asset)</p></li></ul> <br> <p><strong>The ideal candidate has:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Class 1 license</p></li><li><p>A vocational diploma in Truck Transportation (DEP) or a minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles</p></li><li><p>Experience driving a tanker truck (an asset)</p></li><li><p>An excellent driving record</p></li><li><p>Safe behaviour at all times</p></li><li><p>Autonomy and resourcefulness</p></li></ul><p><em>Given the high value of the loads transported by our petroleum tanker drivers, the selected candidate must not have a criminal record related to the position.</em></p>
