Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for revenue auditing, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. Key Accountabilities: Financial Transactions / Reconciliations: * Review Slot Games paperwork and balance daily revenues and in the Slot Accounting system (SDS) and Cage spreadsheet, determine if adjustments are required. * Review Table Games paperwork and balance daily revenues in the Table Accounting system (CMP) and Cage spreadsheet, determine if adjustments are required. * Download data from Cage module and input into report spreadsheet. Adjusting as needed. Investigating any abnormalities and total variances. * Record Food & Beverage, Banquets’ revenue, review paper works and balance to Squirrel and Cage spreadsheet. * Review all closing cash, chips and card stock paperwork to ensure the change in inventory is accounted for. * Download from software (where applicable) and record non-gaming revenues and balance to Cage spreadsheet. * Balance month to date and year to date casino gaming win and volume results and investigate discrepancies. Reporting: * Prepare the daily Revenue Summary and submit it to the provincial partner on a weekly and monthly basis. Provide copy to internal management daily. * Prepare data for month-end reports in a timely manner. Other: * Troubleshooting the gaming system and verifying data or providing input if there are discrepancies. * Performs other duties as assigned or directed. Education and Qualifications: * Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance an asset. Minimum 1-2 years of experience (including data entry) required. Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service oriented communication. Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines effectively. Must be able to follow and work within established operational and administrative procedures. Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel are required. Accounting software experience such as JDE or SAP an asset. Requires strong data analysis skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Must possess excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills. Who we are! GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. GREAT PEOPLE.
