Duties to commence: August 26, 2026 until June 29, 2027 Qualifications & Duties Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs. Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation. Possess a Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset. Experience and/or specialization in an Early Childhood Education setting. Experience working with children who have diverse learning needs and who require specialized accommodations and strategies to support those needs. Experience using specific proactive strategies such as visual supports, sensory supports, positive behavior support strategies and communication strategies. Experience with the implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP's). Committed to working as a collaborative team with and Educational Assistant. Good interpersonal skills working closely with families. Experience/Interest in using various technology tools to assist learning (e.g. SmartBoards and iPads). Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Education and a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate, with experience in Early Childhood Education and working with children requiring specialized accommodations. A College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset.
