Possess a Bachelor of Education and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. College Certificate in Catholic Education is considered an asset. Experience using specific proactive strategies such as visual supports, sensory supports, positive behavior support strategies and communication strategies. Experience with the implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPP's). Committed to working as a collaborative team within a multidisciplinary context. Good interpersonal skills working closely with families. Experience/Interest in using various technology tools to assist learning (e.g. SmartBoards and iPads). Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.
