JOB POSTING MISC 26/27 – 05 Vincent J. Maloney Catholic Junior High School Youth Success Coach Full Time– 35 hours/week Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is located on the original lands of the Cree, those of Treaty 6, and on the homeland of the Métis nation. Position: A Youth Success Coach is required to support students and families with furthering the students' overall success. The Youth Success Coach will be working in the school setting to provide small groups and one on one mentoring. The Youth Success Coach will have a close connection with families and community supports and services. Duties to Commence: August 26, 2026 (or as mutually agreed) Qualifications & Duties Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs. Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation. Completion of a Child and Youth Care, Social Work Program, or equivalent post-secondary training and/or relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with students with challenges, school learning teams, parents, and community partners. Displays a positive approach to students with social, emotional and behavioral needs. Experience implementing positive, proactive behavioural interventions. Some training in applied behaviour analysis. Experience modeling and coaching social skills and healthy boundaries. Support students with transitions throughout the school day Support families and caregivers with providing participation opportunities for youth in the community. Confidence in and knowledge of a variety of technology applications. Provide support through relational interactions and activities. Develop innovative and creative programming to meet the individual needs of youth and small groups of youth. Empower youth to develop resilience and coping skills.
