Site Supervisor

SUMMARY Reporting into the Operations Director, the Site Supervisor is responsible for supporting and driving the successful, on-time, and within-budget execution of shoring projects from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in the operations team and works closely with on-site crews, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring strict safety compliance, managing jobsite logistics, and serving as the primary on-site representative for GIP to deliver high-quality project outcomes. PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE * Project Execution & Planning * Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications. * Plan and organize jobsite logistics and workflow. * Order and manage materials and equipment. * Develop and maintain project schedules. * Team Leadership * Supervise, motivate, and support on-site crews. * Foster a positive and productive work environment. * Ensure clear communication of tasks and expectations. * Safety & Compliance * Promote a strong safety culture on site. * Conduct hazard assessments and enforce proper PPE usage. * Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures. * Lead near-miss reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. * Client & Stakeholder Communication * Serve as the primary on-site representative of GIP. * Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and subcontractors. * Address and resolve site issues promptly and diplomatically. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Proven experience in shoring or heavy civil construction supervision. * Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings. * Excellent organizational and planning skills. * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to safety and quality. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required. WHAT WE OFFER * Expected Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year.
