Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario (Hybrid) Position Type: Full-Time About Green Technology Metals Green Technology Metals (GT1) is advancing a portfolio of lithium projects in northwestern Ontario, including the Seymour, Root, and Junior Projects. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to building respectful, collaborative, and long-term relationships with Indigenous communities, government agencies, and regional stakeholders. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and relationship-oriented Indigenous Relations and Consultation Coordinator to support consultation, engagement, and administrative activities across our project portfolio. Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President, Operations – Exploration, the Indigenous Relations and Consultation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Indigenous consultation and community engagement activities while providing administrative and project coordination support to the broader team. This position is ideally suited to someone who combines strong organizational and communication skills with an interest in relationship-building, project coordination, and community engagement. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring consultation activities are properly documented, commitments are tracked and fulfilled, meetings are effectively managed, and stakeholders receive timely and professional communication. Key Responsibilities Indigenous Relations and Consultation Coordinate consultation and engagement activities with Indigenous communities and organizations. Organize and schedule meetings, community visits, workshops, open houses, and engagement events. Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, meeting minutes, and follow-up action items. Maintain respectful and professional communication with community representatives, leadership, and project stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and distribution of project updates, notices, and consultation materials. Track commitments, concerns, feedback, and follow-up requirements arising from consultation activities. Support consultation planning related to exploration, permitting, environmental, and project development activities. Consultation Records and Reporting Maintain consultation logs, databases, correspondence records, and engagement tracking systems. Ensure consultation records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible for regulatory, permitting, and reporting purposes. Track engagement milestones, commitments, and follow-up actions across multiple projects. Assist in the preparation of consultation summaries, reports, presentations, and permitting documentation. Support internal reporting to management and project teams. Administrative and Project Coordination Manage calendars, meeting schedules, and travel arrangements. Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, community events, and site visits. Draft and review correspondence, meeting summaries, reports, and presentation materials. Organize project files and maintain document control systems. Monitor action items and assist project teams in tracking deliverables and deadlines. Support day-to-day administrative requirements of the operations and project teams. Assist with procurement, invoicing, and other project administration activities as required. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Indigenous Studies, Communications, Environmental Studies, Mining, Geology, Public Administration, or a related field., would be highly regarded Minimum three years of experience in project coordination, Indigenous relations, consultation, community engagement, administration, or a similar role. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Experience maintaining databases, records, and document management systems. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Valid Ontario driver's licence and willingness to travel periodically throughout northwestern Ontario. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations. Knowledge of Indigenous communities and organizations within northwestern Ontario, particularly communities located near GT1's project areas, would be considered a strong asset. Experience in the mining, natural resources, environmental, infrastructure, or consulting sectors. Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and regulatory requirements in Ontario. Experience preparing meeting minutes, consultation records, engagement logs, and regulatory documentation. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, schedules, and competing priorities in a project environment. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Exigences
