Job Description GridShield CSI Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and commissioning critical power and backup power systems throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure the reliability and performance of essential electrical infrastructure and backup power systems. Requirements Diploma or Degree in an Electrical or related technical field, or Trade Certificate Minimum of 2 years experience working with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems Experience performing field service and daily dispatch to client locations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Toshiba G9000 UPS Training PowerShield Battery Monitoring Training Strong English communication skills (written for reporting and verbal for client interactions) Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on critical power and backup power systems Provide service, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs with detailed field reports Complete new equipment installations, start-up, and commissioning Calibrate and optimize specialized electrical equipment Perform thermal imaging inspections and reporting Conduct power quality analysis and reporting Interpret electrical drawings and schematic diagrams Work with low, medium, and high voltage systems Support communications technologies such as Modbus and SNMP Maintain DC power plants and battery systems including VRLA and flooded batteries

Exigences
Candidates must have a diploma, degree, or trade certificate in an electrical field and at least 2 years of experience with UPS systems. A valid driver's license and specific training in Toshiba G9000 and PowerShield are required.
