Mechanical Engineering Design Technician

Genetics is looking for a dynamic individual, eager to thrive in a stimulating environment, to join our team as a Mechanical Design Technician. 👀 Here Is The Profile We Are Looking For Holds a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Haves 5 to 9 years of design experience in the mechanical field; Knowledge of SolidWorks/Revit software (an asset); Fluent in spoken and written French (fluency in English is an asset for collaborating with our clients outside Quebec); Demonstrates strong adaptability; Demonstrates positive leadership, autonomy, and a strong Teamwork skills; And above all, share our values: competence, autonomy, respect, and quality of life. 👉 A GLIMPSE OF WHAT AWAITS YOU: Receive, identify, and analyze client needs; Read, interpret, analyze, and understand the various technical clauses of plans and specifications; Participate in the design of various deliverables (technical concepts, plans, lists, datasheets, calculations, manuals, etc.), in accordance with client specifications and standards; Participate in the selection of equipment involved in the designs; Provide support technical expertise during equipment manufacturing; Provide technical support and/or participate in equipment commissioning. ✨ Just Saying, But Take a Look Here Our human resources management practices stand out across the province! The role involves analyzing client needs and designing technical deliverables such as plans, datasheets, and calculations. The technician will also select equipment and provide technical expertise during manufacturing and commissioning.

Candidates must hold a DEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 9 years of mechanical design experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Revit and fluency in French are required.
