Groupe Marcelle is currently looking for a Brand Manager, Annabelle - Go-to-Market and Trade Marketing for a temporary, full-time role (14-month contract). Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, Annabelle, you will be responsible for developing trade marketing programs, including promotional strategy, in-store commercial support materials, displays, visuals, and product launch execution for the brand. You will also be responsible for managing various relationships with internal and external partners. A growing Canadian company A stimulating environment where boldness, empowerment, and partnership are encouraged A human and committed team made up of passionate people moving forward together Benefits matching your talent Competitive base salary Flexible hours promoting work-life balance, including the possibility of leaving earlier on Fridays Medical and dental insurance Health and wellness spending account Retirement plan and Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) Telemedicine services Employee Assistance Program Performance bonuses Paid holidays during the Christmas season Paid time off for your birthday Employee discounts on all Groupe Marcelle products, including exclusive previews of new launches Free access to our on-site gym at headquarters Exclusive headquarters benefits Large free outdoor parking lot (paid indoor parking option available) Easily accessible by foot from Du Collège metro station YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE Work with cross-functional teams on promotional products, considering market trends and consumer needs while supporting the portfolio and maintaining profitability Develop a strong promotional plan that will enable the brand to generate incremental profit Lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, from analysis and briefing to product development and post-mortem review Determine the optimal product mix and products to develop in support of brand and banner objectives In collaboration with cross-functional teams, develop best-in-class 360 plans to support promotional and launch executions, including displays and point-of-sale materials Develop strategies and recommendations tailored to each retailer Create brand-relevant promotional campaigns that help strengthen the core business and drive the sell-through of limited-edition items Manage program budgets and P&L Work on seasonal POS updates based on launches, including fixtures, hot spots, POS artwork, and related materials Create training materials for the sales team Create and present trade programs, launch plans, and promotional plans to internal teams and, occasionally, to retailers Closely monitor the competition, analyze the market, and track trends to identify opportunities and ensure the brand’s continued growth Develop post-campaign analyses to measure promotional effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Work with the sales team to organize in-store events, COOP trade shows, and other related initiatives Work closely with the sales, purchasing, logistics, marketing, merchandising, and finance teams to develop and execute go-to-market and trade plans on time and within the prescribed budget. WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE A bachelor’s degree in communications and/or marketing, or any other related field 3 to 5 years of experience in go-to-market and trade marketing, ideally in cosmetics or another related consumer goods industry Knowledge of the Canadian cosmetics market, pharmacy retailers, and key global trends (an asset) Experience analyzing market data, such as Nielsen, and using sales analysis tools Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data to develop clear and effective promotional strategies and go-to-market plans The ability to interpret financial data, including P&L, pricing analysis, and related metrics Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
