This role owns the tactical execution of HR processes while also handling routine accounts payable and office administration tasks that keep the plant running smoothly. In addition, the role partners with Corporate Total Rewards on supporting U.S. benefits administration. This person is a steady, visible presence on the floor — helping sustain a positive plant culture and serving as a trusted communication link between plant leadership and the workforce. Key Responsibilities HR Administration & Employee Records Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in the HRIS (Paycom) and filing systems. Compensation & Benefits Support Serve as the SME for Canadian benefits. Provide on-site support for benefits questions. Partner with Corporate HR and Payroll on compensation administration in Paycom (pay changes, pay grade data, T4 support, audits). Review time/attendance data for payroll accuracy and support statutory benefit programs (EI, CPP, WSIB). Support U.S. benefits administration. Partner with plant leadership on employee communications and support recognition/engagement initiatives tied to Growscape's values.
