Résumé du poste

Vice President of Sales Canada | Global Remit | Executive Leadership Opportunity We are partnering with an established international manufacturer of highly engineered, mission-critical products used across the mining, mineral processing and aggregates industries to appoint a Vice President of Sales. The business currently generates approximately $60M in annual revenue and has a clear ambition to reach $100M by 2030. With an established position in aggregates, proven applications within mining and the backing of a larger international industrial group, the next phase of growth will come from building a significantly greater presence in global mining markets, international expansion and strategic partnerships. The VP Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy that takes the business through its next stage of growth. The Opportunity Reporting to the President, you will lead a global commercial organization spanning regional sales leadership, field sales, marketing and customer service. The existing aggregates business is well established and supported by an experienced sales team. A major priority for the incoming VP will therefore be developing the strategy to create a much larger position within the global mining industry You will be responsible for determining: How the organization builds a scalable global mining business. Which commodities, applications and geographic markets should be prioritized. How to position the business against established competitors. The right balance between direct sales, dealers and strategic partners. How to develop and strengthen the international dealer network. Which partnerships can accelerate entry into new markets. How the commercial organization should evolve to support a $100M business. How future commercial growth aligns with manufacturing capacity and operational capability. The role will also contribute to wider strategic growth initiatives, including potential acquisition opportunities. The Business The company manufactures highly engineered products used within vibrating screening applications across aggregates and mineral processing. Its products are individually engineered around customers' equipment and operating conditions, with the value proposition centred on improving throughput, wear life, screening efficiency and overall cost per tonne. The commercial model is highly consultative. Sales teams work directly with mines and quarries to understand operating challenges, assess installed equipment and recommend solutions capable of delivering measurable improvements in performance. The business operates through a combination of direct sales and an established international dealer network, making channel development a critical part of the future growth strategy. The Candidate We are looking for a strategic commercial leader, rather than simply an accomplished salesperson. You are likely to have developed your career within: Mining or mineral processing equipment Mining aftermarket Wear products or consumables Screening, crushing or comminution Engineered products sold into mines and quarries Other technically led, recurring-spend products within heavy industry Experience within aftermarket or consumable products would be particularly attractive. You should be able to demonstrate experience developing and executing growth strategies, entering new markets and building effective routes to market. We are particularly interested in executives who combine: Strong mining industry credibility. Strategic and long-term commercial thinking. Leadership of multi-regional sales teams. Dealer and distributor development. International business development. The ability to translate strategy into clear, executable actions. Strong communication and executive presence. Practical field experience and credibility with customers and sales teams. Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations and product teams. The Mandate The ambition is clear: Grow an established ~$60M international business into a $100M organization by 2030. The successful candidate will inherit a strong existing platform rather than being asked to rebuild an underperforming business. The opportunity is to protect and develop the established aggregates business while creating the strategy, partnerships, organization and market presence required to establish a much larger position within global mining. Location & Travel The preferred location is Canada, with flexibility around exact location for the right individual. This is a genuinely international and customer-facing leadership position, and candidates should be comfortable with significant travel across North America and internationally. Why Consider It? For someone currently operating within a larger mining OEM or consumables organization, this represents an opportunity to move from leading a region or product line to owning the global commercial strategy of an entire business. You will have direct access to executive leadership, an established international platform, proven technology and the autonomy to shape how the organization approaches mining, international expansion, channel development and future growth.
