*Overview* We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental team temporary that can lead to a full time position. (New graduate or experienced). Four days a week Mondays & Tuesdays 9:00am-6:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-5:00pm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment. *Duties* * Performs chair-side with dentist with pediatric, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients * Perform oral health assessments and take digital x-rays. * Apply preventative measures, fluoride treatments and sealants. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Document odontograms. * Works with post-op patients explaining instructions * Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures * Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment and keep regulatory records. *Qualifications* * Level I or II certification * BLS trained and HARP certified * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. * English speaking mandatory/bilingual is an asset.
