Job Overview: Happy Burger ( All 3 locations) Must be legally able to work in Canada full-time 40+ hours/week throughout the year. This is a full-time position not part-time. Do not apply if you are looking for part-time work. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Assist with meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of food orders - Maintain a clean and organized workstation - Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to proper food handling procedures - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow - Assist in inventory management and stock rotation - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Skills: - Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and food safety regulations - Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Life insurance * Vision care Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Cooking: 2 years (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required) Work Location: In person
