Do you have experience in commercial real estate, site development, fuel retail or a related industry?We are looking for a Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding Harnois Énergies’ presence in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). In this strategic and highly autonomous role, you will identify new opportunities, develop business relationships, negotiate agreements and lead projects from prospecting through to site opening. Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario At Harnois Energies, that's truly us! What will your key responsibilities be as a Business Development Manager: Drive business development and new site opportunities across the GTA for Harnois Énergies’ corporate, affiliated, fuel and Cardlock networks; Prospect, evaluate and convert opportunities, from site identification and market analysis to negotiation, agreements and opening; Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, customers, developers, landlords and industry partners; Negotiate and manage commercial and real estate agreements; Manage multiple development projects and collaborate with Corporate, Cardlock, Real Estate and Operations teams to ensure successful execution; Develop and maintain the territory strategy, including market and competitive analysis, reporting and growth initiatives; Represent Harnois Énergies as an ambassador of its brands and build a strong presence and network throughout the GTA. To be our next Business Development Manager, you: Have 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, commercial real estate, site development or a related industry; Hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience; Have strong sales, negotiation, and financial analysis skills. Knowledge of the fuel, gas station, Cardlock, and/or commercial real estate industries is considered a strong asset. Are entrepreneurial, proactive, results-oriented and autonomous, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills; Have strong analytical, organizational and strategic planning skills, and the ability to build a solid business network in the GTA; Are fluent in English, both spoken and written; French, Punjabi and/or Hindi are strong assets; Are proficient in Microsoft Office. Exigences
Requires a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial real estate. Candidates must possess strong negotiation skills and be fluent in English, with knowledge of the fuel retail industry considered a strong asset.
