Harvest Operations is currently recruiting a Field Operator, reporting to the Foreman. The Field Operator is responsible for executing day-to-day oil and gas field operations while ensuring compliance with company health, safety, environmental (HS&E), and regulatory standards. This role supports production optimization, equipment maintenance, and operational efficiency, while working collaboratively with field teams, supervisors, and engineering staff. Strong compensation Comprehensive benefits Career advancement opportunities Strong safety culture and team-oriented environment What we are looking for Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record At least 2 years of operating experience Current safety courses – H2S, First Aid, Confined Space, ATV Technical accreditation, diploma, or degree related to the industry / equivalent experience in the field Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office / other computer programs Our ideal candidate will also: Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Possess strong leadership qualities Possess strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and mechanical skills Be able to work unsupervised Be safety conscious and lead by example What you will do: Follow and enforce all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance procedures Participate in safety meetings, inspections, audits, and incident reporting Prepare hazard assessments, safe work agreements, and contractor site documentation Perform daily operations and monitoring of wells, pipelines, and production facilities Review of SCADA data, downtime reports, and well performance to optimize operations Troubleshoot and resolve production, process, and equipment issues Coordinate facility upkeep, housekeeping, maintenance, and operational activities Capture, analyze, and report production, downtime, emissions, and operational data Maintain accurate operational records and ensure effective shift handovers Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate preventative and corrective work Generate and manage maintenance work orders and support facility upgrades and repairs Support operational efficiency and OPEX cost reduction initiatives Assist with production optimization and continuous improvement activities Train, mentor, and support junior operators and team members Contribute to standard operating procedures, KPI tracking, and MOC processes Collaborate with Foremen, Lead Operators, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals Additional Information This position is classified as safety sensitive.
