Type: Contract Location: GTA Duration: 3 months with possible extensions Havas CX is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our Experience Design team. In this role, you will help create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, and enterprise platforms while partnering with clients, strategists, developers, and fellow designers. Who you are: Curious: Interested in learning and understand different industries and verticals as you work with different clients Flexible: Comfortable customizing your approach and deliverables to suit our clients’ unique needs Hands on: Working side by side with your project team, and taking the lead on delivering complex projects Invested: Suggesting and spearheading internal projects to improve our UX practice Entrepreneurial: Always on the look out for better ways to delivery for our clients, and keen on contributing to new business efforts across the agency Responsibilities: The Sr. UX Designer is responsible for designing and delivering key strategic services: Planning and executing quantitative and qualitative user research Facilitating workshops and design sessions Creating a holistic experience design strategies across journey phases, user segments, and channels Gathering user and business requirements You will be responsible for creating and managing key design processes and artefacts: Personas, journeys, and experience principles Eco-system/channel maps, site maps, and user flows Sketches, wireframes, and prototypes Functional and strategic screen annotations Qualifications: Experience 6+ years of UX design experience in an agency or consulting environment. University degree or certification in Information Architecture, HCI, Human Factors/Ergonomics, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Portfolio of work including both marketing/content-related projects and complex, interaction-rich interfaces, as well as experience strategy documentation (e.g., personas, user journeys, etc.). Proficient experience using Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Adobe Suite, or related tools. Experience creating new products, apps, or sites from the ground up. User research and usability testing experience. Comfort interpreting qualitative and quantitative data sources. Superior communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Experience coordinating work and mentoring other UX designers within project teams. Experience estimating project work effort and contributing to new business initiatives (e.g., RFP responses, proposal decks, etc.). Direct experience working with a multidisciplinary team. You Should Have Familiarity With: Responsive and adaptive design concepts and practices. Accessibility and inclusive design standards. Design for mobile devices, e-commerce, and content management (cataloguing, taxonomies, template design). Creating and maintaining design systems. Content strategy. Service design. Additional Information: This role represents an active vacancy at Havas. The base salary range for this position is CAD $50-70/hour, with final compensation determined based on factors such as work location, skills, experience, and background.
