Our client is a growing architecture and design practice with a strong reputation across Western Canada. Known for delivering innovative residential, mixed-use, commercial and community-focused projects, they have established long-standing relationships across the region. As part of their continued growth strategy, they are seeking an entrepreneurial Architect who can play a key role in expanding their client base and helping shape the future direction of the business. This opportunity offers a clear pathway toward senior leadership and potential partnership for the right individual. *hybrid flexibility Responsibilities: Developing and executing business development strategies to generate new project opportunities. Maintaining and growing relationships with developers, builders and private-sector clients. Leveraging an established network of industry contacts to create and secure new business opportunities. Leading client presentations, fee proposals, negotiations, and contract discussions. Managing projects from concept design through construction administration. Providing mentorship, guidance, and leadership to architectural and technical staff. Collaborating with ownership on strategic growth initiatives and market expansion. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and representing the firm within the industry. Identifying emerging market opportunities and contributing to the long-term growth of the practice. Driving client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and relationship management. Qualifications: Minimum of 10+ years of Alberta market experience and be registered with AAA or eligible for registration. Bachelors or Master’s in architecture from an accredited college or university. Previous experience working on multifamily, mixed-use and commercial projects Demonstrated business development and networking capabilities, with the ability to generate and secure new work. Existing relationships with developers, builders and other key industry stakeholders. Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills. The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package $100,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience) + commission, extended benefits & flexible work environment.

Exigences

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Alberta market and be registered with AAA or eligible for registration. A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture is required, along with demonstrated business development capabilities and existing industry relationships.
