We are seeking an experienced IT & OT Implementation Program Lead (Long term Contract) to support the Nickel Rim South Extension (NRSE) Joint Venture, a strategic, multi-year initiative that will establish a fully standalone mining operation independent of existing corporate systems and infrastructure. Your New Role As the IT & OT Implementation Program Lead, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a major technology transformation program, including strategy, procurement, implementation, governance, operational readiness, and transition to support. The primary objective is to establish a standalone IT and Operational Technology (OT) environment that enables the joint venture to operate independently from existing corporate systems. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and external technology vendors, ensuring successful delivery of critical systems required to support mining operations. A significant focus of the role will involve leading RFP processes, vendor selection, contract negotiations, implementation oversight, governance, compliance, cybersecurity, and operational readiness activities. What You'll Need to Succeed You are a seasoned IT transformation and program delivery leader who thrives in complex, evolving environments. You possess the ability to balance strategic business objectives with technology execution while managing diverse stakeholder groups and external vendors. Required Experience 15+ years of IT program, project, or transformation leadership experience. Experience delivering technology programs within mining, industrial, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive environments. Strong enterprise IT background across ERP, SaaS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and governance. Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformations and implementations. Experience leading RFP development, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and implementation partner management. Experience building, transitioning, or establishing standalone business environments. Knowledge of IT/OT architecture, cybersecurity, and industrial technology ecosystems. Strong governance, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Preferred Experience Mining industry experience. Joint venture environment experience. OT systems implementation and integration exposure. Multi-stakeholder governance experience. Experience separating operations from a parent-company technology environment. Technical Skills Enterprise technology transformation leadership. ERP and business systems implementation. IT/OT program delivery. Vendor and contract management. IT/OT cybersecurity and segmentation controls. Governance, compliance, and audit readiness. Risk management and executive reporting. Technology roadmap development. System integration, testing, and deployment oversight. Leadership Competencies Strong program leadership and execution skills. Comfortable operating in ambiguous and greenfield environments. Ability to balance business and technical priorities. Collaborative and stakeholder-focused approach. Strong communication and vendor management capabilities. Ability to drive outcomes while building productive partnerships. Education Required Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline. Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, or relevant technology certifications.
