Job Title: Lead Agentic Automation Developer Location: Toronto, ON(hybrid) Job type: Full-time Rate: CAD110-CAD115k/annum Job Summary We are seeking an innovative, hands-on Lead Agentic Automation Developer to join the Agentic Process Automation team of a leading Canadian pension and investment management organization. As the organization evolves from traditional Robotic Process Automation (RPA) toward intelligent, agentic automation, this role will be at the forefront of designing and delivering next-generation solutions that combine RPA, AI Agents, Generative AI, and enterprise integrations to solve complex business challenges. You will help drive automation initiatives across corporate functions, capital markets, and private markets, enabling teams to increase efficiency, improve decision-making, reduce manual effort, and unlock new ways of working. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of AI, automation development, solution architecture, and business analysis expertise, with the ability to identify opportunities, gather requirements, recommend appropriate technologies, and deliver scalable, secure, enterprise-grade automation solutions. You will work with technologies including UiPath, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other emerging AI platforms. Key Responsibilities Design enterprise AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the broader Microsoft AI ecosystem. Develop autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, including decision logic, confidence thresholds, guardrails, exception handling, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop workflows. Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and automation frameworks. Design and implement multi-agent architectures and workflow orchestration patterns. Build, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade agentic automation solutions combining AI, RPA, integrations, and human review processes. Utilize UiPath Cloud Platform capabilities including UiPath Studio, Document Understanding, AI Center, Integration Service, Communications Mining, Action Center, and Apps. Leverage Power Platform technologies including Power Apps and Power Automate to develop fit-for-purpose business solutions. Participate in discovery workshops and solution-design sessions to identify automation opportunities and recommend optimal technology stacks. Modernize existing RPA solutions by incorporating AI and agentic capabilities. Define and execute testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, AI response validation, confidence scoring, exception handling, and output verification. Produce technical documentation including solution designs, process maps, deployment guides, runbooks, and technical specifications. Provide technical leadership through code reviews, development standards, governance practices, and mentoring of junior team members. Own the full lifecycle of automation solutions, including development, deployment, maintenance, support, operational stability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with AI Strategy, Data, Security, Architecture, and Delivery teams to implement advanced AI patterns and reusable enterprise AI services. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience building AI Agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, or similar agentic AI platforms. Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, plugins, and declarative agents. Minimum 3 years of advanced UiPath development experience delivering intelligent automation solutions. Strong understanding of: Prompt Engineering Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI service integration patterns Confidence scoring frameworks Responsible AI principles Experience designing and implementing Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows. Knowledge of AI governance, explainability, monitoring, auditing, exception handling, and risk management practices. Experience creating automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes for AI-enabled solutions. Strong solution architecture skills with the ability to assess technologies based on business value, scalability, maintainability, security, risk, and cost. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience facilitating workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions. Ability to mentor developers, perform code reviews, and provide technical leadership. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Business Analysis, or related technologies. Experience with Responsible AI governance, model evaluation, and AI operationalization. UiPath Solution Architect Certification or UiPath Agentic Automation Professional Certification. Experience in both software development and business analysis/process improvement environments. Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and business process optimization. Experience implementing enterprise-scale agentic AI solutions using multi-agent architectures.

Lead the design and delivery of next-generation agentic automation solutions combining AI agents, RPA, and enterprise integrations. The role involves developing autonomous workflows, modernizing existing RPA solutions, and providing technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring.

Requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and at least 3 years of advanced UiPath development. Candidates must possess strong skills in prompt engineering, RAG, and the ability to design scalable enterprise AI architectures.
