Marketing Operations Manager Job Type: 3-6 Month Contract Pay Rate: $65-$80/hr Location: Hybrid, 2 days onsite (Toronto OR Ottawa) Your New Company Our client is a well-established national organization with a strong public-facing mandate and a reputation for excellence, innovation, and community impact. Your New Role Our client is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to act as the central point of accountability for planning, workflow management, budget oversight, process improvement, and operational excellence within the marketing function; you will lead the development and execution of marketing planning processes, manage departmental budgeting and resource allocation, oversee content planning and scheduling, and establish performance measurement frameworks. What You Need to Do Lead annual and ongoing marketing planning processes and operational workflows. Manage marketing budgets, reporting, forecasting, and resource planning. Develop and maintain content calendars, timelines, and delivery schedules. Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and operational reporting frameworks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization across the marketing function. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide strategic operational support. Lead change management initiatives that improve efficiency, collaboration, and execution. Manage, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. What You'll Need to Succeed: 6+ years of relevant experience, including progressive program or project management responsibilities. University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Proven experience managing mid-to-large scale projects and complex initiatives. Strong background in planning, operations, process improvement, or marketing operations. Experience managing budgets, reporting, performance metrics, and resource allocation. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to develop practical business solutions. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Experience leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable. Previous people leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
